The Government was following the walk-out and ordered the relevant agencies to settle the case soon in order to protect legal interests of Vietnamese workers. Right after knowing the strike, a working team from the ministries of Foreign Affairs, and Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs was dispatched to Jordan to directly meet the workers and work with Jordan’s competent agencies and the employer.

At present, Việt Nam is working with Jordanian counterparts to settle the case in line with the two countries’ laws to ensure the legitimate interests of the workers. Those employees who want to repatriate will be carried home as soon as possible.
