Special working group on institutional settlements set up

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc stressed that a special working group will be established soon to review unsuitable legal regulations.

The Government chief made the announcement on December 2 at the Government’s regular meeting for November. 

PM Phuc underlined that the special working group will be led by the Ministry of Justice. 

So far, after 11 months, all preset norms have been fundamentally fulfilled. A large number of goals have been realized ahead of schedule. 

PM Phuc noticed ministries, agencies, and sectors to stay alert to totally realize the preset norms and strive for a 7% GDP growth rate. 

He stressed the necessity to speed up disbursement rate of public investment capital.

The State Bank of Viet Nam (SBV) was asked to ensure credit growth; proper monetary circulation. 

The SBV and the Ministry of Public Security were asked to minimize black credits and crack down on banking crimes. 

The Ministry of Finance was urged to finalize state budget collection in 2019. 

All sectors and agencies were assigned to facilitate business and production; combat trade frauds. 

Striving for 1 million businesses by 2020

Regarding the draft resolution 01, PM Phuc tasked the Ministry of Planning and Investment to work with relevant agencies to perfect the document which will be discussed at the national conference between the Government and localities at the end of December. 

The Government chief requested that Resolution 01 must propose new and breaking solutions.

He also revealed that a special working group led by the Ministry of Justice will be formed to review overlapping institutional regulations. 

The PM stressed the importance of optimizing resources; upholding the role of key economic regions, big urban areas; and striving for 1 million enterprises by 2020./.
