This will be the third commemorative summit hosted by the RoK with ASEAN. The previous ones took place in Jeju and Busan in 2009 and 2014, respectively.

This year’s summit will provide an opportunity for leaders of ASEAN and the RoK to review the partnership and shape cooperation orientations for the next decades, Hang said.
