Following the working visit to the UK about the case that 39 bodies were found in a lorry in Essex, northern east of London, Dung held working sessions with Minister of Asia and the Pacific at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom Heather Wheeler, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Home Office Seema Kennedy, Senior Coroner for Essex Caroline Beasley-Murray and Director General of Economic and Global Issues at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Menna Rawlings.

The Vietnamese functional agencies will carry out all citizen protection measures in necessary cases, said Dung, suggesting the British side support Viet Nam in this process.

He proposed the UK boost the investigation process, strictly punish those who are responsible for the case and enhance coordination with the Vietnamese side in preventing illegal migration.
