VN to host 2020 Highlights of ASH in Asia-Pacific

The event is expected to welcome about 1,000 delegates in the fields of haematology, oncology and other specialities from Asian-Pacific countries.

With more than 17,000 members from nearly 100 countries, the ASH is the world’s largest professional society serving both clinicians and scientists around the world who are working to conquer blood diseases.

Highlights of ASH in Asia-Pacific will feature analysis by internationally recognized experts on the latest updates in hematology research from the ASH annual meeting.

The meeting features the examination of advances in clinical and translational hematologic research, evaluation of the role of new diagnostic techniques and therapeutic approaches as applied to the care and management of people with blood diseases, and discussion of new patient management and care strategies with leading faculty in the field.

Its mission is to further the understanding, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders affecting the blood, bone marrow, and the immunologic, haemostatic and vascular systems by promoting research, clinical care, education, training and advocacy in hematology.

The conference will be organised by the ASH in coordination with the Haematology and Blood Transfusion Society of Viet Nam.
