US Secretary of Defense to visit VN at convenient time

VGP - US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper is expected to visit Viet Nam at a convenient time at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Ngo Xuan Lich, according to Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang.

Viet Nam and the US have sustained growth in bilateral defense ties in accordance with the existing cooperative mechanisms and the framework of the comprehensive partnership, Hang said.

Regarding the recent tragic road accidents in the United Arab Emirates, Hang said no Vietnamese have been reported dead in the incident.

The accident occurred on Sheikh Zayed Road near World Trade Centre tunnel exit towards Abu Dhabi from Dubai./.
