WEF: Viet Nam improves the most on global competitiveness

VGP – Viet Nam jumped 10 notches to 67th out of 141 economies on the global competitiveness ranking, according to the 2019 Global Competitiveness Report released by the World Economic Forum (WEF).

With the latest ranking, Viet Nam is the country whose score improves the most globally, says the report.

The Southeast Asian country scored 61.5 points, up 3.5 points compared to 2018. This is Viet Nam's highest ranking so far.

The report also shows that Singapore has overtaken the US to become the most competitive nation in the world.

In its 2019 Global Competitiveness Report, the WEF measured the strength of 103 key indicators, such as inflation, digital skills and trade tariffs, across 141 countries.

The key indicators in the report were organized into 12 pillars, which included institutions, macroeconomic stability and health./.
