GDP growth in nine months highest over decade

VGP – The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth over the first nine months of 2019 has set a new record since 2011, witnessed a year-on-year increase of 6.98%, according to the information of the General Statistics Office.

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth over the first nine months of 2019 sets a new record since 2011, witnessed a year-on-year increase of 6.98%. In the third quarter of 2019, the GDP growth is estimated at 7.31%, the second highest figure recorded over the recent eight years, after the figure set in 2017.

The contributions of agriculture-forestry-aquaculture, industry-construction and service to the economy are estimated at 4.8%, 52.6% and 42.6%, respectively over the recent nine months of 2019.
