Nagano Prefecture expects to welcome more Vietnamese trainees, committing to create favorable conditions for those coming to the Prefecture to work in the fields of nursing and tourism, he asserted, referring to more than 3,400 Vietnamese trainees are living in the Prefecture.
He expressed his hope to receive more support of the Vietnamese Government in this field.
Nagano Prefecture has advantages in tourism, high-tech agricultural products, food processing, traditional wine and apple, said Abe Shuichi, affirming that the Prefecture is making effort to contribute to promoting Viet Nam-Japan Extensive Strategic Partnership.
As many as 330,000 Vietnamese are living and working in Japan, ranking third in the number of foreigners living in the country.
He expressed his delight on the recently-inked MoU and the Prefecture’s willing to receive more Vietnamese trainees.
The Vietnamese Government will facilitate the imports of Japanese farm products such as apples and pears in line with the agreement reached during his talks with Japanese counterpart Abe Shinzo, confirmed Phuc
He suggested the Prefecture’s authorities and the Governor continue encouraging its enterprises to pour more investment into Viet Nam in its advantageous areas, adding that the Vietnamese Government is willing to create favorable conditions for the Prefecture’s enterprises to launch operation in Viet Nam.
