Cabinet members to explain how they perform since taking office

VGP – Twelfth ministers will explain how they have performed their duties since they took office at an interpellation session of the National Assembly Standing Committee on August 15.

12 Cabinet members are expected to join the interpellation session conducted by the National Assembly Standing Committee in August 15, 2019.

Specifically, the session will focus on the implementation of the resolutions and conclusions of the National Assembly Standing Committee as well as the ministers’ promises since the beginning of the current Government formed in 2016.

The ministers joining the interpellation session are: Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung, Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long, Minister of Public Security To Lam, Minister of Construction Pham hong Ha, Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh, Minister of Labor-Invalids-Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung, Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van The, Minister-Chairman of the Ethnic Affairs Committee Do Van Chien.

On be halff of the Government, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue will clarify issues under the Government’s competence and directly answer questions raised by members of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

The session will be broadcast and televised live.

The interpellation session is part of the agenda of the 36th meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee, taking place from August 12-16, chaired by top legislator Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

During the meeting, the Committee will comment on controversial issues of five bills, including draft law on Labor Code and draft revised law on.

The Committee is also expected to debate on a draft resolution explaning some articles of the Law on Planning./.
