VN’s top 50 brands

VGP – Viet Nam’s ten most valuable brands are worth a total of $6.9 billion this year, a year-on-year increase of over $900 million.

Vinamilk, Viet Nam’s biggest dairy company, continued to top the list with an estimated brand value of over $2.24 billion, followed by military-run telecom giant  Viettel with more than $2.16 billion and beverage producer Sabeco.

Viettel was named the fastest-growing brand with its value rising from US$1.397 billion a year earlier to the current value of US$2.163.

The remaining seven in the top 10, in order of ranking, were:  real estate corporation Vinhomes, food giant Masan Consumer, telecommunications providers MobiFone and VinaPhone, state-owned Vietcombank, IT giant  FPT, and mall operator  Vincom Retail.

With ten brands on the top 50 list, the food and beverage sector accounts for the largest share in terms of the number of brands while consumer, banking, telecommunications, property and retail make up the largest share in terms of value.

Other sectors such as agricultural support, securities, travel and accommodation have only one representativeseach respectively.

The list was compiled based on the contributions of brands to the companies’ business performance.

According to Forbes Viet Nam, the food and beverage industry continued to dominate the list with 10 representatives. Supporting industries, including agriculture, securities, tourism and accommodation services had only one representative each.
