e-Cabinet system makes debut

VGP – The e-Cabinet system was officially deployed to serve meetings and work processing of the Government on June 24 in Ha Noi.

The event drew the attendance of PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Organization Pham Minh Chinh, Deputy PMs Truong Hoa Binh, Pham Binh Minh, Vuong Dinh Hue, Vu Duc Dam, local leaders, ambassadors, and representatives from the WB, Viettel, and VNPT. 

Earlier, the Office of the Government worked with relevant ministries and agencies to build the e-Cabinet system.

The Minister-Chairman of the Office of the Government on February 27 signed Decision 168/QD-VPCP on approving the Project on deploying e-Cabinet system towards paper-free cabinet meetings, establishing a national portal for e-Services, and ensuring interoperability between the government’s various information systems and databases.

After over three months of preparation, the Office of the Government has shaken hands with relevant ministries and agencies to build and finalize the e-Cabinet system. 

Once coming into operation, the e-Cabinet system would serve as an important instrument for the development of e-Government in Viet Nam towards better services for people and businesses, better socio-economic growth./.
