Cashew nut exported to the US surges
VGP - Việt Nam exported 5,000 tons of cashew nuts to the US in June and earned US $21.5 million, up 60% in volume and 72% in turnover against May, said the Việt Nam Cashew Association (Vinacas).

In the first half of the year, Việt Nam shipped US $85-million cashew nuts to the US, the country’s current biggest importer of the product.
Meanwhile, the country exported 15,700 tons of cashew nuts valued at US $67 million to China in the same period.
The volume of local cashew nuts exported to the Chinese markets was slightly on the decline, said Vinacas.
