National Committee on ending Tuberculosis established

Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam is the Chairman of the Committee. 

The Ministry of Health is tasked to join hand with other relevant ministries and agencies to submit to the PM on the establishment of the Committee. 

 Tuberculosis in Viet Nam was reduced by 31% in 2007-2017 period, mainly thanks to the PM’s issuance of the national strategy on Tuberculosis prevention till 2020, with vision to 2030. 

The World Health Organization recognizes that Viet Nam is heading to end Tuberculosis.
