A filmmaking team of BS Japan Television on June 18 came to Việt Nam to shoot sequences on the Southeast Asian country’s land, people and culture, said the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MSCT).

During their stay in Việt Nam on June 18-28, the filmmakers will film the beautiful landscapes in the coastal provinces of Khánh Hòa and Quảng Nam.

It is reported that the MSCT is also negotiating with Star World and ESPN channels about contracts on promoting Việt Nam’s tourism to the rest of the world.

Earlier,  BBC-made video clip on Vietnamese tourism was officially broadcast on May 27 on the BBC World News, bringing Việt Nam’s images to over 200 countries and territories.

In 2007, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng allowed the MSCT to introduce the potentialities of country’s tourism globally for the first time on CNN.
