VN, China open seminar on import-export operations

VGP - A seminar on import-export operations via border gates along the Việt Nam-China borderline will open on Friday in the northern province of Lạng Sơn to help businesses better understand cross-border trading mechanism and procedures between the two countries.

Through official trading activities via the border-gates, enterprises will benefit themselves and the State

 The discussions will be focused on legal import-export activities and smuggling via border-gates.

There will be assessments presented by the Lạng Sơn Customs Office on advantages and disadvantages of these two methods.

Mr. Nguyễn Công Trưởng, Head of the Lạng Sơn Customs Office, said that the seminar will help businesses gain benefits from official trading activities via the border gates with China, so as to boost trade ties between the two countries, raise the State budget collection and create a level playing ground for enterprises.

According to the President of Artexport, an enterprise trading in handcraft and fine art products, the seminar will provide good opportunities for businesses to exchange experience.

It will also help them enrich their business knowledge, making them more confident to seize opportunities and minimize risks.
