The city’s tourism department is also planning to open cheap tours and boost up advertisement work.

In Quảng Ninh, the northern province endowed with the picturesque Hạ Long Bay, a conference was recently convened to adopt a series of urgent solutions to attract tourists in 2009.

These measures include improving quality of services, launching promotion campaigns, retraining human resource, designing new tours and products.

Quảng Ninh expects to welcome 4.8 million turns of tourist in 2009.

This year, the central province of Quảng Nam, the locality owning two world heritage sites of Hội An and Mỹ Sơn, will allocated a bailout of VND 4 billion to push up tourism.
