The event was attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

The predicted flight time is 1 hour and 35 minutes per leg on the Hai Phong-Quy Nhon route, 2 hours on the Hai Phong-Ho Chi Minh City route, and 2 hours and 5 minutes on the Hai Phong-Can Tho city route.

These are the first three air routes in Bamboo Airways’ plan to construct a network of routes connecting the Cat Bi International Airport (Hai Phong) with domestic airports (Da Nang, Phuc Quoc) and international airports (Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul, Siem Reap) in the future.

According to Standing Vice President of Bamboo Airways Dang Tat Thang, the launching of these new routes is part of the firm’s roadmap to conduct flights on 37-40 domestic and international air routes in 2019, aiming to serve the demand of passenger and cargo transportation and contributing to enhancing trade and tourism connectivity between regions across the country.

In 2019, Bamboo Airways has set a goal of increasing its flight frequency to 100 per day and serving 5 million arrivals of passengers.
