Number of new firms up nearly 5% in four months

VGP – As many as 14,854 newly-established enterprises were recorded in April, raising the total number of new enterprises set up over the recent four months of 2019 to 43,305 ones with the total registered capital of VND542.4 trillion, up 4.9% and 31.7% in terms of the number of enterprises and capital, respectively.

The total number of new firms and re-operated firms in four months attain 60,800 ones.

The average capital for a new enterprise was estimated at VND12.5 million, up 25%, according to the General Statistics Office.

The total registered and additional capital to the economy in four months reached VND1,414.4 trillion.
