MoFA informs Party chief’s health status

VGP – High work intensity and weather changes have affected the health of Vietnamese Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong, said Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Le Thi Thu Hang.

The Spokeswoman made the announcement at the regular press briefing on April 25.

Ms. Hang informed that the Party chief would come back to work soon.

Regarding a question on Viet Nam’s response to the DPRK leader’s visit to Russia for a summit with President V. Putin, the Spokeswoman said that Viet Nam advocates the peace and denuclearization process in the Korean Peninsula.

Viet Nam supports dialogue efforts of the related sides in favor of people’s benefits, peace, security, stability, cooperation, and development in the Korean Peninsula, in the region, and the world at large, she said./.
