Foreign enterprises urged to expand operation in VN

VGP – The Government will create favorable ways for foreign investors to broaden investment and enlarge production scale in Viet Nam.

Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung hosted a reception for Vice President of Taiwan-based Compal Group Ray Chen on April 10 in Ha Noi. 

Mr. Ray Chen reported that the Compal’s computer assembly plant in Vinh Phuc has been operating stably with projected revenue of US$ 500 million in 2019. 

So far, thanks to higher market demands, Compal wants to expand its manufacturing in Viet Nam to raise export turnover to US$ 1.5-2 billion per year.

In reply, Deputy PM Dung acknowledged and praised the Compal’s investment operation in Viet Nam. 

He affirmed that the Vietnamese Government is further improving the business climate and competitiveness so as to attract more domestic and foreign investors.  

The Government is ready to support foreign investors, including Compal, in extending production and trade, the official stressed and asked Compal to hold working sessions with ministries, agencies and localities to deal with specific issues and promptly report any difficulties./.
