VN attaches great importance to strategic partnership with Germany

The Vietnamese Government leaders highly valued Bodo Ramelow’s ongoing visit to Viet Nam, expressing their belief that the visit would help further boost cooperation with Viet Nam in various fields including education and manpower.

They spoke highly of the dynamic role of small and medium sized enterprises in Thuringia state’s economy, calling on the state’s investors to expand investment in Viet Nam.

Both PM Phuc and Deputy PM Minh appreciated the Thuringia state’s initiative to enhance vocational training with Viet Nam, saying they will tasked the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to deliberate on the initiative.

Bodo Ramelow said he led a big business delegation to Viet Nam to explore more cooperation opportunities and voiced support for official signing of the free trade agreement between Viet Nam and the European Union.

Earlier in February this year, Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh held talks with  German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas as part of his visit to the European country.

At the talks, both sides expected to substantiate the Viet Nam-Germany strategic partnership, according to a post on German Foreign Office’s Twitter account.

Heiko Mass spoke highly of Viet Nam’s achievements in socio-economic development and international integration as well as its role and position in ASEAN and Asia-Pacific.

He also hailed Viet Nam’s active contributions to the international community.
