In 2006, EVN sold 51.33 billion kWh, 231 million kWh more than planned, to over 9.1 million customers, including over 91.5% of the farmer households nationwide and met 47% of the industrial sector's demand.

In 2007, to fulfil the set goals, EVN will try to keep under-construction projects on schedule, especially those planned to start in 2007, raise as much finance as possible for investments, meet the plan of transforming public electricity producers, power companies, consultancies and auxiliary units into stock firms in order to attract more finance from the society to electricity projects as a way of diversifying ownership for national development amidst international integration. The focus identified is on the engineering of electric grids up to 220 kV, hydraulic equipment for hydroelectricity projects, and equipment and spare parts for thermo-electricity plants.
