US$100 million-hotel resort project invested by Japan starts construction in Da Nang

Covering an area of 12.2ha near the Xuan Thieu Beach, the 19-storey tourism-entertainment area features 2 main separate subdivisions. One is 5-star hotel offering a total of 464 accommodation rooms, entertainment and recreation areas. The hotel and functional areas are capable of serving 6,000 guests in total each day.

The project’s contractors have committed to ensuring labor safety, environmental sanitation, and the on-scheduled progress as well. The water park and the hotel are expected to be put into use after 12 and 24 months of construction, respectively.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City’s People’s Committee Le Trung Chinh said the city has been continuously selected as having a good business and investment environment with synchronous infrastructure and fast economic growth (7.86% in 2018). 

Japan is currently taking the lead in the number of Foreign Direct Investment projects in the city with 177 projects and the total investment capital of US$809 million, focusing on the manufacturing and processing industry, real estates and services.
