VN organizes infection control meeting for first time

VGP – The ninth International Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC) Congress was organized on March 20 in the central city of Da Nang.

This is the first time Viet Nam has hosted a meeting on infection control.

The APSIC, organized every two years, aims to create a forum to exchange and update information and knowledge for professionals, doctors and researchers in infection control in the region and the world.

This year, the event attracted the participation of 1,500 delegates from 31 nations, who would share experience with domestic doctors in this field.

The APSIC 2019 is expected to affirm the status of Viet Nam’s infection control work in the world.

The congress included one overall seminar, 39 small seminars, 117 scientific reports and eight presentations.
