Phuc said Viet Nam’s business climate has been remarkably improved recently and the country is home to around 26,000 foreign direct investment projects with total registered capital of nearly US$350 billion.

He spoke highly of the “German House” model in which many specific projects have been deployed in to help boost mutual understanding and cultural exchanges as well as economic cooperation between the two countries.

For his part Philipp Rosler congratulated Viet Nam on successful hosting the second DPRK-USA summit in Ha Noi, which reflects the Southeast Asian country’s rising role on the international stage.

Viet Nam has created a new and important position in the global politic map, Rosler added.

He highly valued the meeting between Prime Minister Phuc and foreign investors on the sidelines of the annual gathering of the World Economic Forum in Zurich, Switzerland earlier this year./.
