Iran, VN foster cooperation

At the talks, Sarmadi spoke highly of Viet Nam’s socio-economic achievements and improving stature in Southeast Asia and the world. 

He wished to foster cooperation with Viet Nam, especially in economy and trade.

Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Cuong stated that Viet Nam treasures developing friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Iran.

Mr. Cuong expressed his delight at the positive development of bilateral ties over the past few years and suggested facilitating all-level visits and working closely together at regional and global forums. 

The two sides discussed measures to lift Viet Nam-Iran ties to a greater height, thus meeting the aspirations of the two countries’ leaders and people.
