VN launches IMC for DPRK-USA Ha Noi Summit

Located at the Cultural Friendship Palace at No. 91 Tran Hung Dao street, the center will officially start operation on February 26. 

In an interview following the inauguration ceremony, Deputy PM, FM Minh said work on the media center has been completed after just over one week thanks to the close coordination and great efforts of ministries, agencies and Ha Noi.

Now, Viet Nam is totally ready for the second DPRK-USA Ha Noi Summit to be held in the capital city from February 27-28 as well as relevant bilateral activities. 

Installed with state-of-the-art equipment, the IMC will allow them to work in the fastest and most effective way. It will be open round-the-clock with dining, working and functional spaces. 

Minh took the occasion to stress that Viet Nam always wants to contribute to peace and stability in the world, especially in the Korean peninsula and that the country is proud to meet the requirements for security and logistics to ensure the summit’s success./.
