Foreign visitors to VN in January up 5%

VGP – The number of foreign visitors to Viet Nam in January 2019 increased 5% against the same period last year, reaching 1,501,800 ones, according to the statistics of the General Statistics Office.

Number of foreign visitors to Viet Nam by air and road witness respective increases of 1.4% and 26.9% while the number of foreign travelers to Viet Nam by sea decreases 30.5%.

The Republic of Korea overcomes China to take the lead in the number of visitors to Viet Nam in the first month of 2019 with 389,000 ones, up 23%.
