Trade deficit hits US$ 800 million in January

VGP – The trade deficit hit US$ 800 million in January, 2019, according to the General Statistics Office.

The exports and imports in the first month of 2019 witness respective increases of 1.9% and 1.7% compared to the previous month.

U.S. maintains the largest exporter of Viet Nam in January, witnessing a year-on-year increase of 11.8%.

Viet Nam spends US$6.1 billion from importing Chinese products, up 6% against the same period last year.
