Thua Thien Hue to attract VND22,700 bln in social investment in 2019

VGP – The central province of Thua Thien Hue is focusing on attracting investment and mobilizing the social investment worth VND22,700 billion for economic development in 2019.

The capital will be used for realizing key projects and developing main products of the province such as electricity, beer, garment and wood processing.

In addition, the province will pour investment into large-scale projects at economic zones and industrial parks, expanding Phu Bai International Airport, coastal tourism projects and enhancing urbanization in Hue City.

In 2018, the province’s social investment was estimated at VND20,050 billion, reaching 100.25% of the set plan and up 7.5% against the previous year.
