Number of re-operated firms up 30.9% in 11 months

VGP – As many as 121,248 new firms were set up over the recent 11 months of 2018, up 4.5% and 9.1% in terms of the number and registered capital against the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office.

The number of newly-established and re-operated enterprises in 11 months of 2018 witnessed respective increases of 4.5% and 30.9%.

The number of new firms set up in retails and sales and construction increased 2.3% and 5.8%, respectively.

The Southwest took the lead in the number of new firms over the recent 11 months of 2018, up 5% compared to the same period last year, followed by the Red River Delta, up 3%.
