Binh Dinh region master plan till 2035 approved

VGP – The central province of Binh Dinh needs to take advantages of its critical position and maritime economic potentials and establish an urban-rural system sustainably in all fields of economy-society-environment as well as ensure defense security.

Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung has approved the Binh Dinh region master plan till 2035. 

Accordingly, the province is located on the area of 6,050 km2, including one city, one town and nine districts. 

The plan aims to develop the province’s urban-rural system sustainably, protect the ecological environment in line with international integration and respond to climate change. 

The province will have 17 urban areas by 2025 and 22 ones by 2035.  

Regarding orientations for tourism development, three key tourism clusters will be developed including Quy Nhon tourism cluster, Tay Son tourism cluster and Hoai Nhon tourism cluster. 

The province will develop financial, commercial and service centers at region-level at Quy Nhon city, Hoai Nhon town and Nhon Hoi economic zone. 

The region-level logistic services will be established in Quy Nhon city, An Nhon, Hoai Nhon town and Tay Son attached to harbor, airport and axis of the economic corridor.

A number of exhibitions and fairs will be formed to promote and exchange products to play a key role in regional connectivity between Binh Dinh Province and neighboring localities. 

Trading centers and wholesale markets at large-scale agricultural-aquatic-forestry production areas will also be set up.
