Total retail sales and service revenue touch VND 4 quadrillion

VGP – Total retail sales of goods and services were estimated at VND 4 quadrillion, representing a year-on-year growth of 11.5% or 9.34% (excluding price elements), the General Statistics Office reported.

Total retail sales were estimated at over VND 3 quadrillion, up 12.3% against the same period last year.

Food and food stuff grew by 12.7%; garments and textiles up 12.3%; household utensils up 12.1%.

Localities including Thanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Dinh witnessed high growth rates of 13.5%; 13.2%; and 12.8%, respectively.

Tourism revenue was projected at VND 37 trillion, up 14.7% against the same period last year./.
