Korean Airlines allowed import tax exemption

He tasked the Ministry to instruct customs agencies to supervise and closely control the import and use of duty-free goods of the carrier to ensure that they are used for the right purposes and are consistent with Article 5 of the aviation agreement signed between the Governments of Viet Nam and the Republic of Korea.

Also in April this year, the Vietnamese Government had decided  to allow import tax exemption for three foreign airlines, namely Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, Federal Express Corporation and Japan Airlines as part of the Government’s efforts to implement air transport agreements with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the United States and Japan./.
