Second branch of VietinBank Laos makes debut

Speaking at the event, General Director of VietinBank Laos Le Quoc Nam said that the bank has made profit during its first year of establishment in Laos and maintained the annual growth of 20%, keeping the bank debt under 0.5%. 

This is the second largest-scale Vietnamese bank in Laos, he said, adding that the bank has upheld its bridging role in connecting investment between the two nations and making contributions to the economic development and trade relations of Laos. 

The launching of the second branch is expected to expand the operation network in the south of Vientiane, which is regarded as a crucial progress for VietinBank Laos to improve the capacity of providing products and services for the business community and customers in the area.  

VietinBank Laos now has the total asset of around US$357 million.
