VN, China enhance financial cooperation

VGP – Vietnamese Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung and his Chinese counterpart Liu Kun agreed to enhance coordination in financial cooperation, human resources development, macro-economic supervision and mid-term budget planning through delegation exchanges.

The two Ministers held talks on November 27 on the occasion of the Vietnamese leader’s official visit to China from November 25-30. 

At the talks, the Chinese Minister was delight that Viet Nam-China relations have been brought into a higher level, especially after high-ranking visits.

They consented to strengthen cooperation and support each other within bilateral, regional and multi-lateral cooperative frameworks. 

Within the visit to China, Mr. Dung and the Vietnamese delegation held working sessions with the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC). 

At the meetings, the two sides were unanimous in promoting the sharing of information and experience on issues related to reforming the State-owned enterprises (SOEs) and upholding the leadership of the Party at SOEs. 

They also consented to continue accelerating cooperation in struggling against smuggling, trade fraud, illegal drug trafficking, implementation of  controlling intellectual property rights at border areas and signing an agreement on mutual recognition of authorized economic operator.
