The Department attributed the impressive growth rate to stable consumption market and investment development.

In the January-October period, excluding crude oil, overseas shipment of electronic devices was estimated at US$ 7.94 billion, representing a year-on-year surge of 30.78%.

Local enterprises invested in modern machines to produce competitive auxiliary industry products.

Deputy Director of the HCMC Center of Supporting Industries Development (CSID) reported that the Center has assisted enterprises in engaging deeply into the supply chain of the FDI sector. In addition, the city also supported industrial enterprises via investment promotion program which helped enterprises to access modern machines and equipment; raise labor productivity; and connect enterprises with banks for better capital access./.
