VN welcomes UN resolution calling for end of embargo against Cuba
VGP - Spokesperson for the Viet Nam Ministry of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang said Viet Nam welcomes the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption of a resolution calling for an end to the U.S. embargo against Cuba.

The maintenance of the embargo is inappropriate and needs to be promptly removed in its entirety, she said at the ministry’s regular press conference in Ha Noi on November 8.
The lifting of the embargo will meet the aspirations and legitimate interests of Cuban people, as well as contribute to development, peace, and stability in the Americas, Hang said.
