VN pilots sending guest workers to Thailand

VGP – The Vietnamese Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs and the Thai Ministry of Labor have reached an agreement on sending guest workers to Thailand to work in the building and fishing sectors.

The Overseas Labor Management Department reported that the Department has made detail guidelines on the field.

Accordingly, all enterprises which have licenses in labor export are able to register.

The Department also announced that guest workers have to pay costs on passport, medical check-up, visa fees, essential knowledge supplement, and contribution to the Overseas Employment Support Fund.

Labor export enterprises are allowed to charge only one basic month salary for a one-year labor contract.

The Department also noted that overseas workers don’t have to pay brokerages and aviation fees as Thai labor employers cover the fees./.
