VN enjoy trade surplus of US$6.4 bln in 10 months

VGP – Viet Nam enjoyed the trade surplus of US$6.4 billion over the recent 10 months of 2018, according to the General Statistics Office.

The State sector reported the trade deficit of US$10.7 billion while the foreign-invested sector released the trade surplus of US$27.1 billion.

The nation’s total exports and imports in 10 months were estimated at US$100.27 billion and US$193.84 billion, witnessing respective year-on-year increases of 14.2% and 11.8%.

The exports of phones and accessories took the lead with US$40.7 billion, up 10.6%.

U.S. was the largest importer of Viet Nam in 10 months with US$39 billion, up 12.8% against the same period last year.

China maintained Viet Nam’s biggest export market with US$52.9 billion, up 12.4%.
