VN celebrates 69th National Day of China in HN

VGP - A banquet was held in Hanoi on September 30 to mark the 69th National Day of China (October 1, 1949).

The event drew the attendance of Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung, officials of some Vietnamese ministries, sectors and localities, and representatives of diplomatic corps and international organizations in Ha Noi.

On behalf of the Party, State, and people of Viet Nam, Minister Dung congratulated the Chinese Party, State and people on the vast achievements they have acquired over the last 69 years.

The minister was convinced that the Chinese people will fulfill the tasks set at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and soon realize the goal of a “comprehensive well-off society” and a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious and beautiful. 

Chargé d’affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Viet Nam Yin Haihong reviewed her country’s accomplishments in the past 69 years. 

The China – Viet Nam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership has sustained the upward trend, the diplomat said. 

She affirmed that China is ready to join Viet Nam’s efforts to promote win-win cooperation so as to lift bilateral relations to a new level, bring happiness to the two peoples and contribute to peace, stability and development in the region./.
