Five Vietnamese companies listed among Asia’s top 300
VGP – Japan’s Nikkei Asian Review has released the Asia300 – a list of the biggest and fastest-growing companies from 11 economies across Asia, including five from Viet Nam.
Viet Nam’s listed companies are Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Viet Nam (Vietcombank), FPT Corporation, Vinamilk, Vingroup Joint Stock Company, and Petro Viet Nam Gas.
The top 300 companies were selected based on market capitalization, with consideration also given to growth potential and geographic balance to bring into sharper relief ASEAN economies in particular.
The Nikkei Asian Review also provides in-depth analysis on the operations of these companies, including 81 from China, 44 from India, 42 from the Republic of Korea and 40 from Chinese Taipei.
The Asia300 offers a glimpse of the players aiming to be dominant forces in the 21st century – the multinationals poised to challenge the established Western brands.
