UN Military Experts on Mission Course opens

The event, organized by the Viet Nam Peacekeeping Department, attracted the participation of representatives from Embassies, international organizations and functional agencies under the Ministry of Defense. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Viet Nam People's Army Pham Ngoc Minh highlighted the meaning of the mission course on peacekeeping activities, which have made contributions to improving the capacity of Viet Nam’s peacekeeping forces. 

This is the seventh international course held by the Viet Nam Peacekeeping Department, lasting from July 16 till August 3. 

Besides fundamental knowledge on the United Nations and peacekeeping activities, the course will equip the participants with theories and practices on Investigation, disarmament, mediation, translation, communication activities and relations with the media, reporting.
