Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc |
The meeting aimed to acquire the instructions from the Politburo and the constructive opinions from veteran officials, National Assembly deputies, experts, scientists, and people nationwide concerning the issue.
The move also aimed to work out appropriate measures to implement the guideline of building special administrative-economic units in line with the Constitution, the Party’s resolutions, and the State’s laws.
Earlier on June 11, at the fifth session of the 14th National Assembly, over 85% of lawmakers voted to delay the approval of the draft Law on Special Administrative-Economic Units until the legislature’s sixth session (late 2018), in order to have more time for consideration and completion./.
