VN to host ABU Robocon 2018 next month

Specifically, the Deputy PM has asked the Viet Nam Television to host and join hand with Ninh Binh Province’s People’s Committee and other related agencies to organize the ARB Robocon 2018 as regulated. 

The event will take place on August 26 in the northern province of Ninh Binh. This is the third time Viet Nam hosts the event, after 2007 and 2013.

The contest’s theme comes from a folk game in the ethnic regions of the country, namely Nem Con (shuttlecock throwing). The goal of the game is to throw the shuttlecocks through an elevated ring. It is played during celebration and to pray for good luck and make friendship.
