National teleconference on prevention of child abuse to be organized

The PM has released a document to answer National Assembly deputy Le Thi Nga’s question about measures to respond and prevent child abuse. 

Accordingly, the PM agreed with the National Assembly deputy’s proposal that effective measures must be launched to combat child abuse. 

Since 2017, the Government has assigned the MOLISA to host and coordinate with other relevant ministries and agencies to organize a national teleconference of the Government on prevention of child violence and abuse. 

The event is expected to take place in July 2018. 

The Government will ask the MOLISA and other related ministries and agencies to focus on evaluating the situations of child abuse, analyze reasons and propose effective solutions to address child abuse.
