The organization will also cooperate closely with Viet Nam in designing competition law as well as policies on tax, urban development, corporate governance, and small and medium sized enterprises development in a bid to improve the country’s competitiveness, he said.

Secretary-General Gurría voiced support for Viet Nam to host the World Economic Forum on ASEAN, scheduled in September this year, affirming OECD’s active participation in the forum.

The same day, PM Phuc had a working lunch with former Canadian PM Jeans Chretien.
