He expressed his hope that Greece will support Viet Nam to promote the relations with the EU and soon ink the EU-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement, paving the way for accelerating the two nations’ economic and trade relations.
Viet Nam expects to further cooperate with Greece in advantageous fields of ship building and repair, maritime transport services and supply and harbor, he said, affirming that Viet Nam will facilitate Hellenic enterprises and investors to invest in Viet Nam and hopes that the Ambassador will bring more Hellenic enterprises to Viet Nam to seek for business opportunities.
The Vietnamese leader consented with the Ambassador’s suggestion to soon completing negotiations on the Agreement on Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Agreement on Maritime Transport.
He suggested the two sides’ functional agencies facilitate visitors from both sides, asking to launch cooperative agreements on culture, tourism and exchanging experiences and cooperation in archeology, preservation and restoration of historical monuments.
The PM expected the two nations will continue close coordination at the UN, ASEAN-EU and ASEM.
The Ambassador agreed with the PM’s measures to boost the two nations’ relations in the upcoming time, affirming to do his utmost to fulfill his assigned tasks to make contributions to the two sides’ relationship.
He hailed the two sides’ exchanges of delegations at all levels, especially Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh’s upcoming official visit to Greece.
