The ministry was also requested to strengthen inspection over the organization of general aviation activities, aiming to ensure absolute aviation security, order and safety in all circumstances.

According to the MOT, Globaltrans Air is allowed to provide general aviation services for commercial purposes both domestically and internationally. Previously, the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAAV) submitted to the MOT a report on the verification of Globaltrans Air’s documents asking for the renewal of its general aviation business license.

Accordingly, the company’s profile is full and valid as stipulated. Globaltrans Air has a charter capital of VND100 billion, while sufficiently developing business plans and product development strategy as regulated by the law.

The MOT granted a general aviation business license to Globaltrans Air on April 15, 2015. However, Article 12 of Decree No. 92/2016/ND-CP stipulates that a general aviation business license is cancelled if the provider does not begin its service or receive the air operator’s certificate (AOC) in 18 months after the licence’s issue date.
